Ants In My Pants

'Cause all I really want to do is tell you the smashing progress to report from my latest Ortho appointment... But I can't do that as the (I'm thinking positive thoughts) impressive appointment in question isn't until tomorrow. Hmmmph!

I do know time is moving along WAY to fast, irregardless of how it comes across on a day-to-day basis. I look at my chillun's latest 'back-to-school' snap and I want to scream "STOP!!!!!"

Stay tuned.... we now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

  1. All the best for your ortho appointment ... with your attitude, it will be all good!

Cute kids! Know what you mean about time going way to fast. My kids are now 26 and 24 ... yet they're still my babies and when I see them, my heart melts!

Looking forward to reading all the good news!

  3. Kate,
Your children are lovely...I especially like how each one wears a *totally* different expression. My hunch is they don't all stand still like that very often!

(BTW, I think it is cool y'all live on a farm. Even though we're in the suburbs, we make our children do chores and help with our home maitenance. Watching my older daughter develop healthy routines has been really encouraging.) Before children, six months was no big deal, but now that six months means the difference between crawling & walking, or pretending-to-read & reading, time really does seem to have changed a dimension.

Your previous post was really clever. The pictures of your bite, with the midline diagramed reminded me of how involved we've all become in our treatment plans. Which is as it should be. I couldn't help smirking at my own recent interest in midlines & maxillas. A year ago I didn't know any of these dental terms, and now, I spend WAY too much time staring at my slow moving choppers.

    Hope that gaps closes quickly.

  4. What a trio of cuties. I have three myself but mine are 16, 14 and 5. I cant get over the comparison photos...the shape has really come along way, nice rounded arches...your teeth are really looking great. Its these darn gaps that are killing us all. Ive got one more gap to close, some molars to rotate, little midline shift and some front straightening to do...so Im patiently waiting. You look great tho! Talk to you soon..always love catching up on your blog, you are a great writer!
